If you are considering straightening your smile without traditional orthodontic braces, ClearCorrect teeth aligners from SEDA Dental of North Miami Beach are an excellent treatment option. With ClearCorrect, your teeth can be dramatically improved by simply wearing clear, removable aligners. The ClearCorrect aligners are custom-made appliances that feel comfortable and also do not require any food restrictions. They can be easily removed when you eat so you do not have to be concerned about consuming sticky foods as you would with traditional metal braces. Best Candidates

ClearCorrect is a good choice if your teeth are crooked, crowded, misaligned, or if you have a dental malocclusion (bad bite). It is especially effective if you have a severe overbite, rotated teeth, or excessive gapping. There are many treatments to improve the alignment, spacing, and dental bite, but ClearCorrect has additional advantages. The clear aligners make it difficult for others to tell you are wearing orthodontics. They are also removable so they can be taken out when you eat, clean your teeth, and for special occasions. Unlike Invisalign (a similar system of clear aligners), ClearCorrect is made in the United States and is generally less expensive. When you come to our office for a ClearCorrect consultation, we can discuss all your orthodontic treatments and answer all your questions to determine if ClearCorrect is the best method for you.

What to Expect

As soon as you choose ClearCorrect, a member of our team will take digital x-rays of your teeth and jaw and impressions that will be used to make your aligners. Once we receive your aligners, a team member will contact you to schedule a fitting. You can expect to schedule appointments every two weeks. During this time, we will evaluate your progress and issue replacement aligners as your teeth and bite begin to adjust. If you lose or damage one of your aligners, just give us a call, and we can have replacement aligners made so you are able to continue treatment without waiting until your next appointment. Depending on the position of your teeth and the amount of correction needed, your prescribed orthodontic care could last 12 – 24 months (about eight phases of treatment).

You will need to attend regular visits to our office so that we can check your progress and make adjustments as needed. It is also very important to keep your teeth and the aligners clean so you do not end up with tooth decay. Brushing your teeth, flossing, and using mouthwash after you take out the aligners is a good habit to start with. You should also rinse or clean the aligners before placing them back in your mouth. It is also important to store your aligners in their protective case during meal times so you do not lose them.

Once your treatment is finished, you may want to wear a retainer to maintain your teeth's new alignment and prevent them from moving back to their original position. You need to continue to schedule annual dental exams at SEDA Dental of North Miami Beach so we can monitor your bite, alignment, and overall oral health.

Insurance Coverage

Our team will go over cost estimates during your consultation. We will also tell you the different payment methods we accept, including low-interest financing. If you have dental insurance, a staff member may contact your provider to find out your benefits and calculate your out-of-pocket costs.
